The Vendettas in the US will be filmed by CBS Sports Network. That part removes everyone with a WAL contract from Vendetta. Just FYI.

TV viewers don't know that part yet. They have only seen 1 tournament.

Good thoughts Gabe.. ***The WAL Vegas tournaments will greatly effect turnouts at other high qaulity events in the next few months thats obvious. Just timing, guys/gals will have a choice to make! ***The WAL needs to add atleast one or a couple more wt. classes especially considering the turnouts at past events, (ie Vegas 195lb class last June). 30 lb weight gaps in wt. classes is to much JMO and several other pullers have said the same thing. If the WAL continues to grow and expand the wt. classes need to be revamped. SHANE Problem is, if you have more than 4 weight classes, you water down the competition a lot. Nobody wants that to happen. Plus any more than that makes it more complex to present on TV, and you have to keep in mind from the start that the goal of WAL is to put $$$ into armwrestling, which requires TV. If its not TV friendly, its not going to fly. Timing is a little bit of an issue with the WAL tournaments vs. others. For me its a no-brainer, I can get to Vegas for free with frequent flyer miles, they have a good deal on the hotel, and I have a damn good shot at $$$. For a lot of pullers, its a balancing act on what works best for them, their budgets/schedules/etc. I hope the WAL continues to improve and get bigger and better every step of the way. So far they seem to have a great thing going!

Shawn, I may looking to practice Sunday with you guys if possible. I'm not 100% sure if I'm available I would have to find a babysitter, but I'd like to get in the table. I practiced with Tim last week but he's away for a tournament this weekend. Thanks Sorry, I don't check in here much. Missed the post. Email Jim Bryan for info, he can let you know everything. jbbryan@comcast.net

Sue Trains with Team NJ at Jim Bryan's house. He's in Southhampton, NJ, kinda near Medford/Mt Holly area.
We have a good group from Novice to pro and from 154 to SHW. Usually train Sundays at 1:00 PM.

Right, so when I have seen him put down his beer to go ref at the table, he wasn't drunk, he was just being an ass?
Whatever

Nitro has always been an ass. Most of the time he's drunk while reffing, and he's always drunk if he's on the mic. I've been to several tournaments where he was involved (before I knew better). Never again!

For me it's a fun hobby. I like strength sports, but not many other sports. I have a need to challenge myself at something, and I get bored easy, so armwrestling fits. $$, etc are not issues for me, and my wife is ok with my hobbies.

I think Chicago will be awesome. The hotel sold out weeks ago. Huge number of pullers in the midwest in driving distance, lots of us from both coasts flying in. Should be a good time.

I only pulled Eric Guevin and Max Maxwell left. Won both. I tried to get Marcio to jump in the supers, but he wasn't interested. He would be a real good match for me lefty. Ya, ONLY Eric Guevin and Max Maxwell...that's all lol! JK, I know you are talking numbers not talent. Are you going to make the worlds tourney? As far as Marcio, No overall? Was it because of the number of entries so the tourney ran late or never overalls at this tourney? Leonard: Did Tim flash Jerry? Or did they battle? A battle with Jerry is brutal, reminds me of UAL 1 vs Brzenk. Straight war and John's hand looked like it was going to explode after. Some bystander said "dam! That dude's hand looks like a water baloon! It had to be 2" thick with straight braughtworst fingers. They didn't have an overall. The tourney did run late, but I don't know if they had planned an overall or not. No worlds for me, not interested in traveling overseas.

Thanks and Daaaaaaaamn! Now that is how to beat Jerry's flop wrist press, with the power of a Rhino. I assume the rest of your matches were pretty much the same. I only pulled Eric Guevin and Max Maxwell left. Won both. I tried to get Marcio to jump in the supers, but he wasn't interested. He would be a real good match for me lefty.

I went undefeated left. Jerry went undefeated right. Here is video of my first pull with Jerry. Jerry lost once in the finals to Tim B. I stand corrected
