James, that is awesome you could keep up with that workout of Chris's, I certainly couldn't!! I guess my take on all this is that you guys know as well as I do, no one is going to throw themselves under the bus, no matter what!! Most (suspected users) I've been around will give you the same song and dance, I take creatine , aminos , eat a gazillion calories and train like a mad man. Whatever do what you want, that's my opinion. Bottom line is if some are using in our sport (obviously) and still can't seem to beat some of the guys that aren't is it really worth it? It looked like a great event, congrats to all that attended!!! It's too bad that this great event has been over shadowed by the "STEROID" topic.

I agree Justin. I have heard that song and dance too. However, I think the Arnolds would only be overshadowed by steroid talk if you let it be overshadowed. That was a great tournament.
You may be right about a portion of the top guys that don't get beat by pullers that are on but there are pullers a part of the composition of that elite that bought their way in without putting in the effort that others do. A lot of them are good armwrestlers, don't get me wrong. But they're great armwrestlers when the stakes are higher. Now that could be because they are rising to the occassion like Babe Ruth, Davey Crockett, the Lochness Monster and other mythical figures. Or that could be a bunch of fooey.

Here is an anology: If two of the top four in each class use steroids they are taking the spot of armwrestlers that worked to be there and truly deserve it, like when 2 or so open-class pullers pull novice instead ensuring themselves a trophy but taking one away from a newcomer that should in all fairness have that trophy.

I agree 100%!!!! also with the first post too. No sense making my little reply huge by quoting a bunch of others. I think it has a domino effect If one does and you didnt the last time , than the next time you might because you dont know if the other did this time. So it snowballs, especially for the bigger events.
Also its not going to make a bad athlete great, just better. But it could make a very good athlete great and make the difference between a close match and a mismatch
