ok Tony, Anthony Picchioldi is the guy that i was writing about.he was in 1999 WAF championships in Japan.he competed in the same class with Ron Bath,i asked him in 2001 harley pull about 1999 worlds.he told me that Ron pulled against a Russian and he injured Ron's bicep.but he never told me that Ron was already injured.if i travel with my team mates to another country to represant our country, and if something like Ron's injury happens i sure would know that if he was already injured before the tournament.but unfortunately he didnt probably know about it.generally Russians are very tough, and armwrestling has big competetion in Russia.so any new comer may come to the worlds and take 1.place in his class.so i thought maybe this Russian was one the new discovered giant.i now know that Ron already was injured and i 100% believe in this.

That's awesome you two, to resolve your fights so peacefully. Some people on this board need to start taking notes.
Engin, Ok, now I realize you weren't talking about me, thanks for the clarification.

Engin, I am glad Tony Picholi has so much insight. As far as my injury. I didn't feel it worth fussing about prior to the tournament. I didn't feel it was anything. It didn't hurt just felt as though someone was poking a pin lightly into my arm when I would flex. Also I could of probably pulled most in the class that day and nothing might of happened. Though as you stated the russians are very strong and with that and I got out of position a little and on the tape you can see my shoulder come in front of my arm a little right before it went. I give all respect to the Russian in that match and he did win. He might of even won if my tendon didn't tear. As far as Tony's statement, He wouldn't have a clue!!

Ron,thanks a lot for sharing the whole story with us.i know how its to be badly injured.but i was wrong about thinking that the Russian won because he was better.because if he was good enough to beat healthy and ready Ron,then we would have heard his name a lot after that time.so your injury must have been the only reason.once again for sharing the story with us.

As far as Tony's statement, He wouldn't have a clue!! If your referring to my statement earlier about needing Russian insight. I wasn't referring to insight on your injury. I was referring to having a Russian's opinion on "why the Russians are so good.
