All this talk, wish i was going. People, let me tell you , Snake face is ready! He has been hitting it very hard, myself, Owens, Victor, Ballenger, West and a few others will vouch for that! The knock down drag out practices he has been having are unreal, most of us leave with flesh missing! Cobra is ready and in rare form, as in I've never seen him this fired up for anything in my life. I dont envy anyone that steps to the table across from Cobra. I've seen Engin pull many times and he is a true champion. All the respect in the world to you Engin. Get fired up and take it to the table! Good luck. I think Cobra is 16 time world champion or something like that. He knows what it takes to make it to the top. He will find away to win this, I have ZERO doubts. Just my opinion. Man you guys are crazy. I have all the respect for Cobra and I like both him and Engin but Cobra is the one making the come back, not Engin. As far as I’m concerned Engin is the favorite and Cobra is the one that needs to prove that he can beat him. Engin is the best until someone can beat him. Then they will be the best on that particular day. You judge someone the best by their performance over several tournaments and many head to head challenges with someone before you can say they are not the best anymore. I’ll say it again; Engin is the man until proven otherwise. ;D I CAN'T BELIEVE THE HEAD REFEREE IS TAKING SIDES... MR.LEORNARD ARE YOU TAKING SIDES ON A PUBLIC BOARD AS TO WHO IS GOING TO WIN THE 154 LBS CLASS ? |

This is not a positive thing for Cobra. If it were you, ENGIN, going to the table next week in Vegas at a competition that has GAMBLING and the HEAD REFEREE has let his true feelings known, how would it affect YOU?? I did not see him come on this board and say that people were crazy for saying Klimenko could pull well with John BRZENK, or any other matches. It just seems like a pretty strong statement for THE HEAD REFEREE to lash out LIKE THAT, AND ON A PUBLIC BOARD... |

Amadeo,you probably dont know Leonard well enough.and i believe that Cobra is a member of this board to express his thought if he felt offended.or are you an advocate?he,Leonard just expressed his thoughts.
you know what,after i read what Leonard posted i felt that it was something positive Cobra and something negative for me.because i like to be underdog,but what he wrote makes Cobra underdog.this is an advantage for him.if Leonard was taking side in his heart,he wouldnt express his thoughts openly.
what you are doing now is accusing him,and putting so much pressure on him by writing here that he is taking side.its the ugliest thing that could happen.please dont make things dirty and stay away.i and Cobra are friends.i respect him,and he says he respects me.we both have very good past in the sport.none of us ever needed any help to win.and we will not need in the future.

Amadeo,its so easy to accuse someone.but you must realise that its not right thing to do.for example,i can accuse you for trying to put pressure on head refree to help me lose,not that Leonard would feel pressure because of untruthful words.but you may be betting money on Cobra and just doing your best to make sure these things help.not that Cobra needs all these ugly things that you wrote.till this morning i was taking you as my friend,but i wouldnt expect you to do what you just did.i wish you the best of luck in your life,i wont respond you anymore.because this is the way that certain ppl tries to get attention.and i wont feed you.take care.

He has proven himself over and over again. I cannot truly tell you what Leaonards intent was, is or whatever. I just find it VERY ODD that he thinks others are CRAZY for thinking Cobra is THE MAN. CRAZY CRAZY. Sorry if you do not understand Christian. I may have slipped with "Taking Sides" but I think it is not very pro for the HEAD REF of the BIGGEST ARMWRESTLING SHOW IN AMERICA to make such a comment. I wonder what Cobra thinks about it. And Engin why do you think this is the worst thing I have ever done?? If the shoe was on the other foot would you not think about it?? I wish that Cobra would come on here and voice his thoughts on the matter. Engin if it were the other way around, would you have a feeling that....hmmmm that is STRANGE for a HEAD REF to say YOU GUYS ARE CRAZY Cobra is the man and ENGIN NEEDS TO PROVE. Engin has nothing to Proove. He is a phenominal legend and has prooven himself as pound for pound the best or one of the best ever.
Leaonard has an armwrestlers heart and this is a competive sport and Leonard is well liked and respected as a fair referee and this should even be a subject. Once again you come out with some beauties even when your not trying to provoke trouble..

thanks Guy,Leonard was trying to say that im the best 154,and Cobra was coming to my weight class.and he hadnt been pulling for sometime.Cobra doesnt have to prove nothing.he has proved himself twice more than i did.what Leonard mentioned was about Cobra to reprove himself to show the world that he STILL is the best.i really cant believe that it can be understood in anoether way.
im a Turkish guy,if im coming all way from Turkey by believing that a 100% fair competetion is waiting for me,then you Americans please believe in the samething.its either being paranoid or having dirty plans.no should need all these things.

I can understand several people's view on this situation. Engin however does not have anything to prove to anyone, because he has been the 154lb champion for years now, which I plan on putting an end to that, but we'll save that one for another day. ;D By Cobra dropping down into the 154lb class he is stepping into Engin's territory. It goes the same with Engin going up to 165lbs, because that is Cobra's territory.........soon to be mine too (cough cough). I think the main point that can be agreed upon is that Cobra has been out of the game for a while, and is going to have to show everyone that he is back, and back for another 25 years of armwrestling!!  I have talked to Cobra several times, and his passion for the sport is BACK like never before. I honeslty think that he will rise to the top again and possibly give someone suchas Babayev the match he never wanted. Good luck to Engin and Cobra in Vegas. This will be great competition. |
