I say COBRA detroy's Engin's hand..... Engin is not strong without his hand and will not put up a fight in losing position...... 154's is better for Cobra Some 176's like Tullier, Smith, Fisher, Silvers, could even with a bent back wrist fight to the death with COBRA, Engin has little chance....

I'm really not sure because Cobra hasn't been around for so long but i can't wait for the match!!! I would guess on Engin winning because he is the best 70kg wrestler in the World!

I have never seen Cobra pull live only on video but the old footage i have seen he was out of this world and many ppl have have spoken about him has the best lightweight of all time.But Engin is a legend and 8times world champion and proves his record every year against the top pullers.iF Cobra is what he once was i think he will beat Engin but if hes not Engin could win the duel lets not forget hes a natural 154 puller and till beaten prob the best around.his drive is far greater than most and this post alone will set his adrenline rushing,and for he not being strong without his hand just watch a few of his european championship matches.

My Opinion
I have great respect for both of these great legends.
I think it's Cobra that has to sort of re- proove himself in Vegas, ( though he is perceived as a favorite). There is a certain weight for people that you suck down to where your armwrestling isnt as good. For me years back it was below 190 pounds I was weak.

What is it for Cobra. It has been a while since I have heard of him being this light. He does have the taller arm which can give Engin trouble and a convincing win at the harley a few years back. But that day Cobra was probably close to 170 pounds
I give the edge to Engin.

i agree with everything Travis wrote.Cobra has better chance of winning against me,and for sure im not a type of armwrestler who can armwrestle without his hand.i also agree with Guy about Cobra's taller arm is a disadvantage for me.Cobra is usually 165 pound man and im sure that he wont be any weaker at 154s.i

there is only one thing that would bother me,and that is i dont want ppl to think that i can beat Cobra only if he is not ready.its very disrespectfulness to me.if i win it will be because i deserve it.

i want to thank you to Steve and to Mighty for believing in me.i will do my best and we will see the results.but i and Cobra wont be the only ones that will have chance to win that class.if neither of us cant win that class i wont be suprised at all.

Both of these guys are awsome, but I believe Engin to be the better puller. I think that Cobra at one point had a mental thing over Engin but I dont think thats the case now. No disrespect meant to Cobra at all, I just think this is Engin's event. And Engin's sport to be honest untill someone can take it away. Cobra's hand is awsome, but Engin has shut down bigger and stronger hands than Cobra's. EG: 2001 Harley Pull against mr. Bagent in the overalls. and thats just one of many. He has beaten Remer on numerous occassions.. I could go on and on.. I cannot WAIT to see it. In my mind the 154's will be the most exciting class there. I wish I could go. Good luck to all:)

And reading some of Engin’s posts especially where he places Cobra ahead of himself. …I’m not sure he is ready.

you are damn right mr.Brzenk,but who knows maybe im more ready than how i sound.and i still have two weeks to get my mind ready for Cobra.because i just found out that he is going to pull 154s,that i didnt expect him to do.another thing about me is that i never say that i will win for sure,and i wouldnt be sure of winning even if Cobra wasnt gonna pull 154s.i will just go and do my best and if its enough then i win,if not i just shake the hand of the guy (this can be anyone)and i take what i deserve.

I think Engin is the most mentally focused armwrestler I have ever met in my life. I fear for anyone at 154 because that is his class. He owns it. Craig Saputo said something to me one time about weight and I agreed. Going down to compete with someone at their natural weight is tough, even if it is only 11 pounds.. I believe Engin will do it. But I do think Cobra will be back owning the 165s by the end of the year. Is a Cobra Rhodes vs. Rustam Babyev match in the cards for Japan?

Only time will tell.

We think a lot a like Engin.
I approach most tournaments the same way myself…no need adding extra pressure…it saps to much energy.
Show up take on all challengers and let the people running the brackets figure it out.
I am looking forward to seeing some colossal match ups.
