I thought that earleir this year Tommy lost to Flemming? 2009....and back when tom put chris down chris had just started pulling Id like to see them go at it now!-- and as far as big tournaments/small tournaments...Tom should be pulling the ROTN,or Nationals, and a few others....Hell even South Dakota State woulda been a great one....between Me, Marty Oniel, and Sonny Larson throwing tommy in that mix woulda been some rough pullin..

Fleming beat Tommy left handed but Tom won right... I would like to see Chris and Tommy go at it too (right and left handed) but until they pull again, Tommy has to be ranked higher... and when they pull again we'll see what happens. Tommy might not be dedicated enough to travel to nationals and cut to 198 for ROTN, but that doesn't stop him from being one of the strongest in the midwest. btw when is Chris going to hit up another tournament??? Not dissing him just wondering because he looked STRONG at Pull for the Hungry but I don't think he's competed since (?).

I am not as good as anyone on the list yet, but it gives me something to shoot for. So here I come Chris Hintgen! Chris did look like a giant killer at IL states but that was my first tourney. I need to get my elbow looked at it has been hurting for three months and I have not done anything!
Great job Josh.

I also agree with Todds assessments. Scott Fleming can be very good right handed, he has a few nat championships righty.
I have only Seen Josten pull at two tourneys but his left looks like his better arm, but Flemming left is a Beast!!!!

Trapper, a year ago Tom beat Chris as well right handed, He never pulled the left hand class, You were at the tournament too.. placed 3rd left , remember?
Heck if I was home and not stuck in GA, I would be pushing him to go, you know this. He hardly makes practice unless I push him to go. He did not go to nationals this year because he knew affording Italy would be near impossible. We talked and the money was saved for worlds 2010. Its up to him how hard eh wants to work I can only push so hard.
As far as PJ and MN state, you dont know how it will turn out until it comes along, you had very legitimate reasons for skipping PJ and going up north. Peace, see you around soon.

I dont think he would have to worry about worlds 2009...I honestly dont think he would have made it...but with some dedication and hardwork,,,yeah I think he could make 2010 but he's gonna have to realy work his ass off.

Given the results, I think he would have been somewhere between 3rd and 5th at nationals, the 1st, 2nd, and 4th place guys didnt make the trip , so it is likely he would have made it...

These are the 199 to 242 lbs. LEFT hand rankings:
1. Scott Fleming (won nationals, beat Nick Zinna at Pull for the Hungry while pulling 2 weight classes, beat Don Fritsche many times) 2. Nick Zinna (strong puller beat Scott once at Pull for the Hungry, beat Chris Josten, Mark Nutsch, got a win on Chandler) 3. Doug Allen (beat Don Fritsche at IL States while pulling 2 weight classes, 3rd at the Harley Pull beating Gerald Dees, 1st at IL States over Frank Hirst) 4. Don Fristche (has beaten Ron Bath, got 2nd at 2007 Unified's where Mark Nutsch got 4th, beat Scott Lohmann every time that I am aware of) 5. Quinlin Mendez (beat Gerald Dees at the 2009 Ohio State Championships, 2nd to Mike Bowling) 6. Gerald Dees (beat some guys at the Harley Pull, had a war with Doug Allen) 7. Scott Lohmann (has beaten Tom Dixon almost every time left handed, beat Dwayne Hanel, Kevin Harris, got a win on Mike Snelling in 2005, beat Chris Josten every time they've pulled) 8. Chris Josten (4th at 2007 Unified Nationals, has beaten Dwayne Hanel and Cliff Hall) 9. Tom Dixon (has wins on Chris Josten, Dwayne Hanel, and Scott Lohmann - his brother says Chris and Scott are better than Tommy is left handed however) 10. Mark Nutsch (4th at 2008 Unified Nationals, 1st at New Mexico State Games)
How does this look, it was hard to pick an order, would like to see some of the Nebraska/Iowa/South Dakota pullers vs. the Michigan/Ohio/Indiana pullers. So next is supers, my goal was to get the rankings done before the ROTN which will happen. I didn't want to rush and do a horrible job, it's better and more fun taking my time.
