Let's don't talk religion. Let's don't use Christian, Muslim, Mormon, etc. etc. etc. Let's talk about GOD. If there is one or isn't one.
Answer this one question for me guys/girls.
Do you really think that this world was created by a random mass of things coming together and causing a BIG BANG? Is it really possible that we have just enough oxygen and carbon dioxide to work perfectly by accident? That the Earth rotates on it's axis and also rotates around the sun at the perfect distance so that we have enough heat to be warm but not burn up? That we have enough rain to keep the plants alive to give us oxygen and not too much rain to flood the Earth and kill all the plants? That a man and a woman can have sex and form a child on a consistent bases for thousands of years? That this same child can live in it's mothers stomach for 9 months and then be born in a natural way without doctors if chosen? That we can cut our fingers and within a few weeks that cut has healed itself? That the tides are controlled by the position of the moon on an everyday basis? That the foods that we use to live off the land for years were originally in the wild?
Do you really think that all these things are coincidence? If they were, why do they keep happening over and over and over for all of eternity? It seems to me that something or more likely SOMEONE is causing this. I know I cannot answer the question of where did GOD come from, but you cannot answer the question of where did everything else come from. I at least feel like I know where everything else came from..... GOD. I personally find it easier to believe that there is a GOD that created all things than I do to believe that all of the things that I mentioned earlier keep happening over and over and over out of coincidence.
Remember, let's don't talk religion here and let's not copy and paste. Tell me in your own words why you believe in coincidence over and over and over more than you do the possibility that SOMEONE may have created us.

I am not against the idea of a "god" but it can be in a form where it is not really what you are imagining him to be like. Another possibility is that Creator may not care about us. Kinda like the small micro organisms we dont care on our daily life but they are there. So we may not be as important as you think to the creator. Also the other probabiliy is We maybe a indirect product of another big thing he/she/it intended. There can be no god as It can be a cosmic coincidence as well.
I also dislike the description of the Big Bang as an explosion, but I also dislike the idea that it represents the beginning of the Universe. In some theories the Big Bang does not represent the beginning of time, and the Universe might have existed for an infinite time . Then you dont need to have a GOD.
I dont know the answer, but I am willing to explore rather than doing the easy thing and accepting the God in its current format that religions are putting infront of us.

Yea but you were told that they reproduced millions and billions of years ago..... It was drilled into your head since you were a child And never questioned the evidence or source behind that claim. That sir is a direct result...... Of brainwashing. Literally

I do believe man evolved, I don't think we nor the earth were created in seven days. The rest of the post is UN explainable to me..I can't wait for some of these answers. As close to my opinion as it gets.

Do you evolutionists believe in the Big Bang Theory too?

Lol
Tangent.....
Theorist..... No
Show me a picture with plane wreckage..... Or a hole big enough.
I'd love to see it..... Because I don't want to accept what it implies

This goes along with my question about the Big Bang "Theory". There is evidence about the lies on 9-11. There is absolutely no evidence in the big bang, thus, for many many years and counting, it's STILL a theory.

It's a hard question, the "how did all this get here" question. I don't know, but I'm alright with not knowing. Socrates - "As for me, all I know is that know nothing." ;D Why do we have to know? I'm not sure which THEORY is the simpler of the two. A guy with a beard on a cloud, or everything just coming together by coincidence. At least one of them is called a Theory and not killed for, killed in the name of, and killed because of. In this case always evolving and changing with new Scientific discovery. Question: If a Scientist found something that completely disproved God AND the Big Bang, but completely proved how we came to be, would you still cling on the belief of a God?

Question: If a Scientist found something that completely disproved God AND the Big Bang, but completely proved how we came to be, would you still cling on the belief of a God? you mean a scientist who created piltdown man lie which was shown by the science world in british museum for years to prove evolution until it was proved to be a lie? if you never doubt about the honesty of scientists then they become your god and that is the case with many. " A well-known doctor and also an amateur paleoanthropologist, Charles Dawson came out with an assertion that he had found a jawbone and a cranial fragment in a pit in Piltdown, England in 1912. Even though the jawbone was more ape-like, the teeth and the skull were like a man’s. These specimens were labelled the "Piltdown Man". Alleged to be 500 thousand years old, they were displayed as an absolute proof of human evolution in several museums. For more than 40 years, many scientific articles were written on the "Piltdown Man", many interpretations and drawings were made, and the fossil was presented as an important evidence of human evolution. No less than five hundred doctoral theses were written on the subject. The famous American paleoanthropologist Henry Fairfield Osborn said "...we have to be reminded over and over again that Nature is full of paradoxes and this is an astonishing finding about early man..." while he was visiting the British Museum in 1935.
In 1949, Kenneth Oakley from the British Museum’s paleontology department attempted to try the method of "fluorine testing", a new test used for determining the date of some old fossils. A trial was made on the fossil of the Piltdown Man. The result was astounding. During the test, it was realised that the jawbone of the Piltdown Man did not contain any fluorine. This indicated that it had remained buried no more than a few years. The skull, which contained only a small amount of fluorine, showed that it was only a few thousand years old.
The latest chronological studies made with the fluorine method have revealed that the skull is only a few thousand years old. It was determined that the teeth in the jawbone belonging to an orang-utan had been worn down artificially and that the "primitive" tools discovered with the fossils were simple imitations that had been sharpened with steel implements. In the detailed analysis completed by Weiner, this forgery was revealed to the public in 1953. The skull belonged to a 500-year-old man, and the mandibular bone belonged to a recently dead ape! The teeth were thereafter specially arranged in an array and added to the jaw and the joints were filled in order to resemble that of a man. Then all these pieces were stained with potassium dichromate to give them a dated appearance. These stains began to disappear when dipped in acid. Le Gros Clark, who was in the team that disclosed the forgery, could not hide his astonishment at this situation and said that "the evidences of artificial abrasion immediately sprang to the eye. Indeed so obvious did they seem it may well be asked - how was it that they had escaped notice before?" In the wake of all this, "Piltdown Man" was hurriedly removed from the British Museum where it had been displayed for more than 40 years. "

Rick, I believe you answered your question right here. None of us can definitively answer the question of Where did God come from? Is there a God? Where did the Universe come from? Etc, etc, etc You "feel like" you know that everything came from God because you "find it easier to believe there is a God". Others "feel like" they know that everything did not come from God because they "find it easier to believe there is no God". To me - it's simple, it's easy, it's right in front of all of us...................The answer is We "feel like" believing whatever we find "easier to believe". My question is why everyone can't realize that each and every person has the right to believe however they choose and one is no more right than the other? Why is it that it always - at least on this board with the same people - it's their way and no other, and their choice is to ridicule, belittle, and attempt to totally discredit any and everything they don't "believe"? Why is it that people can't seem to agree to disagree?
