It very well could be the way God created everything. That post about time was very interesting Engin.
Karen There is no proof that we exist from evolution. There is evidence of micro-evolution, but none for macro-evolution. Fossil records don't support large scale evolution.
Engin, I meant more in the grand scheme of things there is no way to say we or the universe has a purpose. If God is our purpose for being here, what's Gods purpose??

If God is our purpose for being here, what's Gods purpose?? i know we are not supposed to post any verse but i can only answer according to my belief; 51-56. And I have not created the invisible beings and men to any end other than that they may [know and] worship Me.

I do look into the sky sometimes and wonder WTF!
How did all this happen?
It's a wonderful mystery! Hallowed be He in whose hand all dominion rests, since He has the power to will anything: He who has created death as well as life, so that He might put you to a test [and thus show] which of you is best in conduct, and [make you realize that] He alone is almighty, truly forgiving. [Hallowed be] He who has created seven heavens in full harmony with one another: no fault will thou see in the creation of the Most Gracious. And turn thy vision [upon it] once more: canst thou see any flaw? Yea, turn thy vision [upon it] again and yet again: [and every time] thy vision will fall back upon thee, dazzled and truly defeated. seven heavens 1. Troposphere 2. Stratosphere 3. Mesosphere 4. Thermosphere 5. Exosphere 6. Ionosphere 7. Magnetosphere

Why does he need us to worship him? You shouldn't need self gratification if you are perfect. Just doesn't make sense to me..

until it was proven we thought the earth was flat..till not long ago we did not know many things even about ourselves..what i try to say that we are limited about knowledge and intelligence.all i know that nature of the mankind is needed to worship..some to money, some to fame, some to women, some to power... so to me we all worship something, maybe not by bowing down but by the spirit. so we may not understand the exact reason but i can see that its what its.even we human beings expect obedience in some cases.i sure know that we do not know many things except what we discover.scientists are not creating anything out of nothing, they just discover what already exist.they are ahead of other human beings on material knowledge but they are also human beings which is not only of flesh.

Just doesn't make sense to me.. but you are creating your own definition of god.as i mentioned before that people also thought the earth was flat till they learnt the way that GOD created the earth.what we guess may not be a correct judgement since we are not perfect.if there is a GOD then surely HE is not created, esspecially by us

He gave us free will. If you want to spend eternity in love then God must be your choice because God is love and all love comes from God. However, you do not have any obligation to choose God. If you want to live separately from God that is your free choice to make, and you can go on forever separated from God.

God does not need us to worship him. agreed, just because HE created us to worship HIM it does not mean that HE needs this.also to me the word worship does not directly mean a physical action but obedience.so HE created us to obey HIM but gave you a free will to choose your own path after showing you both ways.

That doesn't make so many other things that do make sense wrong. It's kind of like telling your kid "this spanking is going to hurt you more than it is me. I'm doing it for your own good!" It makes no sense to the kid but when he gets older he understands. I think that everything will make sense to us one day. With all the answers we would not need faith. With all the answers I'm not sure any of us would feel that we need God.

i want even my son to obey me,so it is very acceptable for me that GOD who created me,wants me to obey HIM.as a song writer requires his name to be mentioned on the album,HE also requires us to mention HIM as HE deserves.that is how i see this subject.

The reason for no Big Bang is that science doesn't support that notion. Those who believe in evolution always talk of science. The truth is science conducted the way of control (such as in any other field) will always support "Intelligent Design". Everyone knows that I believe of course that He is the God of Abraham. Take a bomb and you will always get nothing but a mess

God doesn't need us to worship him.
God, because he is God, knows and is well aware of his awesomeness.
God, being full Love, wants to give us that opportunity to experience that awesomeness.
