I think this whole thing is funny. Me too Yeah it's one of those things that no one would even know about if it weren't for the lovely media.  I just know that there are some religious folks on the board, so I was curious what they all thought. Kurt FYI I think it's Jerusalem time, so someone told me it'd hit here at 9am, which means 7am for you? I was just pissed cause if this does happens it's going to wake me up. lol ;D Either way, I just got off call so I plan on doing a wee bit of drinking tomorrow night.  Cheers to the heathens!!!!  |

A church not far from me pastored by dr. Lee Roy Thompson wrote a book and preaches a message called "money cometh"
Doesn't want his congregation driving cars that are more than 3 years old.
Owns like 10 cars. And brags about how his congregation gives him so much money

There are definitely alot of people of faith on this board. But I have yet to meet an arm wrestler of faith in person that has over 90% of their screws loose. ( Everyone - believers or not - has at least a couple screws loose or missing  ) Whoever drempt up this rapture scenario is probably just a closet greedy bastard hoping to quietly rake a couple million somehow on the side. There will be alot of people negatively effected financially ( or worse ) from the "mastermind's" scheme - but I can't bring myself to feel sorry for them. I have a big heart for people who try their BEST and get burned, but if you build your own coffin and dig your own grave, don't be surprised if you get buried alive. At the end of the day personal responsibility is again, where its at. BUT if any of you out there do believe in the impending doom going down this weekend and have an extra credit card to burn through - favor - get me a table from Frank Hirst - and an apocalyptic theme will be suitable. |

In fact, I quit my job this morning! no but i do remember hearing back in 88 the 88 reasons the Lord would come in 88 but nobody i know paid much attention i dont think a true christian would worry so much on when the rapture was because he is ready either way but it is something for you others to think about |
