The smile on your face lets me know that you need me. There's a truth in your eyes sayin' you'll never leave me. The touch of your hand says you'll catch me if ever I fall. You say it best when you say nothing at all. When You Say Nothing At All That is a GREAT song. Keith Whitley wrote it and I love that version, but I think Allison Krauss did it better to be honest.

There's a light in your eyes tonight One of the best groups ever ---- Alabama![/quote] I totally agree. Alabama is not just in their own league, they have their own universe.

Did you ever see a robin weep when leaves begin to die? That means he's lost the will to live. WHOA!!! The ORIGINAL Hank!!! (and his Drifting Cowboys band) I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry That man wrote incredible songs. They are like watching movies in your head when you listen to them. Any of you ever listen to any of his stuff he did as "Luke the Drifter" ?

He said, "I'll love you 'til I die" She told him, "You'll forget in time" As the years went slowly by She still preyed upon his mind
He kept her picture on his wall went half crazy now and then He still loved her through it all Hoping she'd come back again

Born in the heat of the desert My mother died giving me life Deprived of the love of a father Blamed for the loss of his wife You know lord I've been in a prison For something that I never done It's been one hill after another I've climbed them all one by one

I wondered why anybody would put a wreath on their door if they were pissed off at some lady and stopped loving her today.

I've had choices since the day that I was born There were voices that told me right from wrong If I had listened, no I wouldn't be here today Living and dying with the choices I made
I was tempted, by an early age I found that I like drinking and I never turned it down There were loved ones, but I turned them all away now I'm living and dying with the choices I made

Dad says you have to have lived 50 years to really get it. Thanks john.

It looks like both of us do our music shopping at that little rack of $3.99 tapes next to the register at truck stops!
I think that's where I found my last Vern Gosdin album.
I think all my songs from iTunes come off a server located in a Flying J in Carolina somewhere.
