My point is this. It's different associations and different teams. No there will not be 2 Russian teams.

I believe its basically the same team isn't it?
Thanks Chris... it sounds like we share the same opinion on the subject. I hope we can still see all the same faces at the Worlds once testing is introduced.
I did think of a possible flaw... with Humberto paying for testing of all the gold medal winners... if someone were to test positive and the gold go to the second place guy... would the new gold medal winner also be tested? It is very possible that the top 3 in the class could all be taking performance enhancing drugs.

No they are not the same team anymore than the U.S. brings the same team. Look at the results and you will see some armwrestlers at both but with 2 associations you will never get exactly the same team.

Ryan that is exactly one of the points I wanted to know, when the Russians refused did anyone else get tested, where people failed did the next guy get tested? I hear all of this talk about drug testing but I have heard nothing about the rules, regulations and or due process that is being applied with these testing programs, does anyone have the details on this, this group cannot just be saying, hey we are going to “drug” test the winners and just leave it at that.
If you are truly testing to the IOC level you cannot use virtually anything, this includes potentially, over the counter cold medications, much less currently legal performance enhancing supplements that you buy over the counter or on the internet such as 1 Test or any Andro based product.
So not only is notification appropriate but detailed notification of the substances and the due process is absolutely essential to the validity of the program.
Was there a list of the banned substances provided in advance? Was the quality of the tests verifiable? Was there available data to substantiate the credibility of the testing organization? Was there a documented process for the security and integrity of the samples? Was there a detailed due process document that the athletes all agreed to in writing that explained how the process would be administered what penalties and injunctions would be leveled on the competitors and or their teams in the event they test positive or refuse to take the test? When was this provided? Was there strict enough penalties to encourage people to show up clean and take the test or was it simply hey you fail you lose your metal? What is the appeal process for those that feel they incorrectly tested positive or those that feel that the testing was done in a slipshod or intentionally biased manner to prevent them from winning the class?
Did anyone actually take the test and fail, I am sure they are claiming they are innocent so now what that's it, you get tagged as a user without the chance to prove to the contrary?
I use several over the counter supplements from GNC, as far as I am concerned I am not using anything illegal, if I went to an event and tested positive and these manner of details were not made available to me in advance, or were not in place at all, a litigious individual like myself would eat that group for breakfast.
Knowing all of the rules, regulations, the process and penalties before heading to Brazil is the single most important factor in claiming you have a testing policy.

ok what people have to relize that in many countries in the eastern block and elsewere steroids arent frowned upon in the same manner as western soicety. you can walk into a shop and buy them like sweets.2nd lots of these people in these poor countries see a way out of poverty by becoming a armwrestler, gymnast, etc.the level of competion in these countries is so high that for there 2 be 1 dominant force wouldnt do so they take steroids and the feild catches up and so on until we have ROIDVILLE if you had a chance to maybe give your family a better life would you? MY OPION. iam as clean as 50 virgins and would take a test anytime anywere,i no when i go to south africa and put on my english jersey that i wont be playing on a level playing field with certain pullers, but i dont give a crap i love to pull yes,i love to win but not by cheating just because some other idiot wants to.thats like saying if you jump of that bridge i will well, bullcrap we all have a choice. i no my hard work and severe dedication to the cause of 1day winning that world title will be acheived but not by using gear but by being myself. when i win a title and see that trophy on the fire place i want to no i won that not bought it. thanks

Olin. I hardly think your anaolgy applies here. What you are talking about is preparation. The same person knowing that they might be going for that job in a year might finish off those few college courses to get the degree needed while the other might be caught off gaurd not realizing that is what was needed. If your friends are not getting gains off HGH then they should be hunting down the person that sold it to them... yes... I am implying that it is fake. Ok how is this for an anology............"Ignorance is no excuse." They were told that there would be testing. They knew that the supplements that they were taking were illegal. If you say that they do not, then why did they refuse to take the tests? Why was there almost a huge confrontation about the issue? Why did the team trash the hotel that they stayed at? You guys are always quick to jump on the bandwagon with your dumbass liberalized questions. For once people need to stand up for their actions and own up to the fact that they f'd up!!!! From what I understand now, Humberto did not pay for this out of his own pocket. The Brazilian government had some form of authority in this situation. As far as my friends HGH is concerned, it is quite real. I find it extremely hard that his own Dr. would prescribe him fake HGH. These guys are extremely intelligent and do not deal with people off the streets. The brand of HGH is "Gentropin" and it comes from China. 100IU's for $450.00- $500.00

Screw the dumb crap...cheating is cheating is cheating. To make any excuse like "I need time to get clean" or "I am taking banned substances from GNC" Is obscene and an insult to any person with an IQ over 8.

I don't know what to tell you Olin... perhaps black market GH is much stronger... because I have never seen anyone NOT get gains from it.
There wasn't any need to call anyone a dumbass...

Did you think I was talking to you? ;D C'mon man you gotta be able to stand up to some heated dicsussions in here.
HGH is HGH All I can say is that there is a possibility that their body's chemical reaction to HGH is different than others. I can also tell you that I did a reading from a Dr. at UCLA or UNLV that did a research on HGH, and found that there weren't significant gains from HGH alone. BUT once stacked with another form of anabolics the gains were phenomenal. I personally think HGH is a great thing, and from all the reading and studying that I've been doing on it, there doesn't appear to be any bad side effects when taken in 4-6 IU's per week. Any doses over that, then you might want to start watching your internal organs closer. LOL

GH is to be taken with an androgen only!!!! NOT with an anobolic!!!! HGH does not get you strong, it does however get you big. It does NOT give you that " bloated " look. If whoever is taking GH and is getting strong and holding water its from the anobolics they are taking with the GH, its NOT from the GH. You have to eat ALOT, because it burns so much calories to grow.
Yes, everyones body reacts differently to GH or androgens or anobolics. GH grows every organ in the body not just skeletal muscle. EXAMPLE: BLOATED guts on" professional " bodybuilders.
It is supposed to be safer then anobolics. HOWEVER anything abused will eventually hurt you. It should be taken under a Drs supervision

They are getting big from the HGH, and getting stronger from the anabolics. And they are getting VERY strong!!!!! ;D Their diet is pretty good though. I think they may take in at max. 200 grams of carbs per day, and nearly 250 grams of protein per day.
