No worries Olin... I will just have to get to know your sense of humor better. I will tell you a quick story that a lot of the Canadian guys already know about.... One of my opponents in Springfield at the Worlds (who shall remain nameless) went into the washroom right before our match with a leather bag... one of the guys decided to investigate and when he came out of the stall he was in there was a syringe and rubber band left in there... he injected something interveinously... whatever it was I have no idea. My attitude was that I didn't care and I would beat him anyways... and I did. I did pop a couple of ephedrine to get "up" before the finals though... so I guess I would have failed the drug test had there been testing that year.

Olin, then the guys you know are not taking real GH.
Just to let you know: Dave Palumbo, from Long Island N.Y. ( Amateur National ranked bodybuilder ) arrested AGAIN for selling GH. BUT the funny thing is, its FAKE. He is one of the largest steroid ( GH too ) dealers in the Country.

BUT the funny thing is, its FAKE. He is one of the largest steroid ( GH too ) dealers in the Country. I know for a %100 fact that the HGH is real. I have seen the packaging, the name (Gentropin rDNA, look it up on the internet), and the results from these guys now taking it are unreal. They are being prescribed from a chiropractor who is an olympic sports specialist. They are more lean and vascular than ever. These are the exact same guys that I went to high school with who would have never been able to see veins or lean abs. Now their abs and vascularity are very defined thanks to HGH and the combination of steroids.

Since when can a Chiropractor prescribe medications? Unless he is also an MD. Then the anobolics are not oil based and thats what its from.

First off let me start by stating that I would not stick up for anyone using performance enhancing drugs. The only problem with not informing people of an impending drug test is that most people don't pay much attention to the everyday things that they have been taking and feel are not steroids. The problem is that they test for a whole lot more than just steroids. If we tested at all major events then you would not need to inform before hand. However if we are to start then we should forewarn people that it is going to happen. If you do a drug test and want to conform with the IOC then you must test for all drugs on the WADA prohibited list. Most people do not realize all the banned substances that are on this list. If you've taken a cold medication chances are you will fail a drug test. Many "energy bars" out there have ingredients that are not listed on the packaging. However if you have eaten one you will fail a test and be deemed a cheat. Both of these have happened to Canadian athletes. Both were able to appeal and have the positive test thrown out. However if you do not have your National body going to bat for you then you either give up or spend a large sum of money defending yourself before the Appeal Board. Also there is a lot more in a drug test than simply asking someone to pee in a cup. If the test doesn't follow all the rules the test results can be deemed invalid. The personnel who take the sample must be accredited. If you want more info of drug testing and the Banned List you can get it from WADA's website: www.wada-ama.org/en/t1.asp

WOW ! If what I read is correct , if you drink a pot of coffee the day of testing , you would fail if the ppm's were over a specified amount . SO WHAT THE HELL CAN WE TAKE ? I in the past I have taken Strendiol-19 and 17. Got them at GNC . I tend to get bad sinus colds , and get pretty bad alergies . I use Flonase for the alergies, ( steriod based ) and a variety of meds for my sinus infections , some of which are a mild steroid......hmmmm...maybe I need to get sinus colds more often !! But the bottom line is if the testing is to become mainstream , and we want to continue pulling , like the evolution of time ; adapt or die out .

Matt... just about everything you just mentioned would get you disqualified... if they are going by IOC standards.

So Rick... Where do we stand on testing? Is it gonna happen in Japan? Are we all going to be banned for havin that super strong coffee morning of the event? IMO_ We need to start somewhere... If the IOC state we need to test for everything under the sun, then we need to take a step back from that for now. Unfortunately we arent a mainstream sport, so we need to test and oust the 'real' drug takers - things that make you f*ckin monster strong !!! To be honest, you dont even need em to pee in a cup, look at some of these guys - someone who packs 10Kgs of solid muscle in a year isn't just takin a hit of strong coffee or a sinus spray before a training session now is he? Get rid of the Roid monsters! Them who's jaw line is extending past their shoulders, foreheads extending etc etc... I mean christ - I live in England where its cold n rainy - I have the mighty snots all year round - I'm practically sponsored by Vicks! Does that make me any stronger??? I WISH! Once we have got rid of the major cheats, then we can move on to IOC's recommendations of getting rid of atheletes with a bad cough! As we say here in the UK... I'd pull a guy who's had 1000 cups of the strongest coffee anyday (he can even take a hit from the Vick inhaler!), but one thats popped off his tits on HGH is a different matter But i suppose it's a case of where do you draw the line... Ephedrine, Coke(aine), Creatine? wise
