Apparently the numbers I was given for Brazil were inacurate... can anyone post what they actually were? Frank emailed me asking where I got my numbers but neglected to say what the actual numbers were.

He said they were inaccurate? How about results? Guess anyone can say anything until complete, total numbers are posted. Not just this 1-6 but complete names and countries per class.

I did just now find the partial results on the AAA site for WAF. I was being generous in the 1-6th. It is 1st to 3rd in every class but men’s right and there it is 1st to 4th. These incomplete results did not list the number of entries or competitors.

Hey Leonard, Glad to hear your spirits are high with everything happening right now, anything is possible with Christ, he didn't take the stripes on his back for nothing, it was for our healing This may be a silly question, but what makes you think the results are incomplete ? How many tournament results list every competitor ? What's the latest on a merger next year in Japan ? Mike West

The World Armwrestling Federation World Championships lists all the competitors in every class. With numbers of entries and competitors. That is a complete set of results. They didn't even list the usual 1st to 6th which still isn't the complete weight class. I hear that the New Armsport President will be in Africa so we will see if a agreement can be reached there. No one has seen minutes of the Brazil worlds, so we don't know if they voted on the proposial passed in Canada.

Mike West, I have actually started having a lot of fun ripping phone books in half it is a great hand excercise. I tried it fir the first time while at the GNC and did it pretty easily. My question to you is for Guiness how many pages does it have to be? The NYC phone book is 1900 pages I can not rip that one yet but the borough of queens book is about 1100 pages and I can get that or any smaller. where do you find extra books to practice with Thanks Christopher Myers

Chris, the Guinness standard is at least 1000 pages in 3 minutes, top to bottom. The Queens, NY book (yellow pages) is the one they had me do on Regis & Kelly, best way to get phonebooks is to ask around, let people know your collecting them, check with hospitals, hotels, etc. they always get extras when they get their new books. I even got a real good deal on some new luggage while in NY, my wife was bargaining with a salesman for a large bag w/ rollers, they wanted $50 on sale, she offered $40 tax included ;D She ask if they had a phonebook, and if I could tear it in half could we have the bag for $40.......so the salesman smiled, pulled out the Manhatten yellow pages, and said " it's a deal", so we got it for $40 out the door Cya, Mike West

This thread got started about Russians refusing to do a drug test. Not one listed in the 1st to 3rd, were in Canada at the World Armwrestling Federation Championships. What does that have to do with anything? There were nearly 300 competitors in Brazil. To give a near approximation it was some where around 255-270.

When I see the class by class listing of competitors, then I will believe that.
