Richard J., is a good guy and a hungry puller and wants to pull the novice class at Appleton's. I know being the director of the tournament, it is my call, but I need to get the AW communities input. I feel he will be dominate and with the class and the overall, but that is my opinion of him, not fact. Here are the results that I know of, all novice.
He has been pulling since November of 2011 and made his AW debut at KY muscle:
KY Muscle 2011:
2nd right at KY Muscle: 1st Delbert Gibbs (way over due to move up) 3rd Jack Barnett
5th left at KY Muscle
Regionals 2012:
3rd right at SEC regionals: 1st: Bubba Hall (last open tourney right) 2nd Kevin Duvall
TN Muscle 2012:
1st right at TN Muscle: 2nd: Denniss Hennessey, 3rd Eric self
3rd left at TN Muscle: 1st: Bubba Hall (last left novice) 2nd: Rick Swann (should be NLAN)
Pull of the Mountains 2012:
2nd Left: 1st Jason Adams, 3rd John Hutto
3rd right: 1st Allen Gravitt (open puller now), 2nd Casey Coley (open puller now)
KY Muscle 2012:
1st right: 2nd John Houston, 3rd Jeff Janes
4th left
Knoxville AW Champions:
Did not allow to compete novice right due to undefeated class of 9-10 at KY Muscle
2nd Left: 1st Allen Gravitt (no business pulling novice) 3rd John Houston
I don't know about any smaller tournaments or if this is a complete history of him, but the results are 100% data.
Things to consider, relevant or not:
Richard had wins on our highest ranked right handed novice and there is already one novice puller traveling in that also has wins on our highest ranked right handed heavyweight.
Richard does not have 3 wins with either hand
We have nice trophy's, statues, give-a-ways, and $200.00 to the overall winner so I know it will attract some distant pullers and I will easily have double digit entries in left and right heavy weight class.
Your thoughts!?!
