Hey Everyone, Selling my Terminator Arm Wrestling Handle (for cable attachments). I have both the Flat and Round handle attachments. This has been one of the best tools I've ever used in my training and have had great success with it. My involvement lately has been more casual with my priority being grip and steel bending so I can't really fit in my hardcore AW training anymore and would rather off load this wonderful piece of equipment to a more dedicated puller. Looking for $130 Shipped to anywhere within the Con US and will only be accepting transactions through Paypal. Message me if interested.

Hey Gene, looking forward to this tournament. Do you have an idea of what week in November this might be?

I second that. The Terminator handle is the best thing I own for training in arm wrestling to attach to pulleys or bands. John was even nice enough to throw in both handle types, the flat and the round.

Thanks John,
That is an excellent view point on the subject. I compete and train for the sport because it's extremely fun. If I lose to someone and it was a challenge then it's a good loss to learn from but if I lose to someone who beats me within a second then I can't really learn from that match other than I'm not at that level yet.

Really curious with everyone's opinion regarding this topic. Last few tournaments I been too I saw a few people competing in the Pro and Amateur class. Is this normal? Shouldn't the amateur class be reserved for amateurs who are somewhat new to the sport or competing and don't have that much experience? For my first year and a half I competed as an amateur because I was new to the sport and getting the hang of it but now that I go to practice regularly and have gone to a few competitions I started competing as a pro. Needless to say I'm not as competitive just yet but feel it might not be fair to compete as an amateur anymore.
Some of the people I see doing both are definitely not amateurs and demolish whoever really is an amateur. Not really sure I agree with that. I know there could be some exceptions, for example, if I compete at 154lbs pro but then might also want to do 198 amateurs to test my skill and strength against brute force it makes sense but to do 154lb pro and amateurs, that doesn't seem fair.
What's your take?

A power lifting buddy of mine suggested a certain type of training where you train 3 types of intensities each session every week. I've recently incorporated this into my training and have seen some great gains. Below is what I'm currently using for my AW specific training.
Monday: Speed and Moderate intensity Thursday: High Intensity (Table time with group/ Heavy static holds on a table with Bands) Saturday: High Volume low intensity (normally with weights hitting about 12 reps per exercise) Tuesdays for me are normally heavy grip days and I also do a High volume grip work right after my Saturday sessions.
Other routines I've seen work for people are 2 high intensity days per week or 1 high intensity and 1 volume day per week. Anything more than 2 high intensity workouts per week might break down your body too much not giving it time to heal but it all depends on your body.

That's good news, thanks for the reply. I'm weighing around 156 right now so looks like I won't have to cut weight.

I've tried so hard to bring anybody I could and finally have a friend who showed great interest after I brought him to one practice. He's been coming consistent ever since and always asks me when the next practice is so I'm glad I was at least able to increase this great sports participants by at least one. My goal is one more by the end of the year. Speaking of which next Month will be one year since I started. I was addicted from the first time I went to a practice and have been obsessed with arm wrestling ever since.

Joyce is a huge inspiration and incredibly strong, it's an honor to train with such a highly decorated veteran.

I've got to look into how much a plane ticket costs for Cali, this looks like a great event for an amateur like myself.

SOLD! I'll send you a PM with my other questions for the order. I don't want to flood this post with them. The wife is going to kill me but it'll all be worth it once I get my hands on this bad boy!
