Mike, there are alot of us who are over 50 that still compete. Alot has changed as John Wilson has outlined. The only way for you to find out is to get back in the game. Best of luck.

I like your way of thinking, James. But to totally change the concept of the strap will be hard to do. There are several things that give advantages and the strap is one of them. It amazes me how many people do not train with a strap. Best of luck with this new strap. As far as Leonard goes, I am gonna say this. I have always gotten a fair set up when he is the ref. Leonard does a great job in making sure that things are fair.

I am hoping to match up Paul Talbot vs. Ryan Barnett. I think that will be awesome!

We had several matchups. Team Ohio is the champions. Michigan is badass. It was as close as it could get. What state wants to pull Ohio? We can set something up.

After 2 weeks of "The Game of Arms", I have to say that Ethan is the most talked about among my friends. They were all amazed with his ability. Ethan is a very good puller. He blasted Turbo with no problem!

I agree with you John. Tonight's episode was awesome. I think GOA is going to be huge. More and more people will be watching. I also think that there will be alot more people coming into the sport. I bet the novice/amateur entries will be increased in the near future.

I was hoping that Boomer was able to pull. His work schedule is tough, usually 7 days a week. He has no time to train. Once in a while, him and I get together and pull. Hopefully it wont be too much longer for his job to be so demanding.

ESPN also did a documentary in 2005 about armwrestling. It was the first episode of Timeless. My son, Boomer and I were fortunate enough to be featured. They filmed the beginning at the 2004 World Wristwrestling Championships in Reno. Then they filmed the rest at my house. It was aired several times.

I saw the potential competitors list and there are 21 spots there. There are 2 open spots for USA. Is there an updated list for this event? Is John going to be competing there? What about Michael Todd?
