JP, I'm curious... do you think Ethan would beat Rick Soliwada left handed at 154? Or do you think James win on Rick was a lucky win (if so please explain). You didn't like James being ranked above you and Ethan, either.

James and Troy are a lot better than people think they are left handed.

I have experience pulling Runyan left handed and he is nasty strong inside. troy looks to be just as strong as well. Going by styles though I would say that soliwada beats all if not most at that weight in the usa, as he has the hand of a 190lb puller which allows him to be more diverse. again just my two cents here. any given day is different and he isnt unbeatable for sure.

Josh. Yes, I think Ethan CAN beat Rick. If he is training and preparing, then yes I'd pick him to win that match. Largely due to styles and something I think Rick has a problem dealing with that Ethan brings to the table. I could be wrong and it wouldn't surprise me if I was. Rick is a real real talent. No BS to his credibility whatsoever.
Inside power, I have not felt Mr. Runyan, so I can not speak for him or against him really other than I really did not like the fact that one win over Rick placed him that high. See Woody- Devon. That was my only point then.
Troy I believe should be sitting at number 2, under Ethan right now. I pulled Troy in January. Two days after I pulled Ethan. At that time a match between the two of them would not have been at all competitive. I wen inside with Troy first then went outside with him in second match. But this was January and now it's right at June. So a LOT can change in 5 months. I'm anxious for Troy to get out and pull more and test himself against some of the rest of the talented 54's.
To be clear though, I am not calling anyone's win a lucky win. Styles make matches and every puller is different on any given day, as Mike said. I am basing my opinion off of overall performance.

I know there needs to be some changes made to the list after the Chicagoland tournament, but the a>b>c>a matches are confusing me, and there were also some upsets at that tournament. Thanks to Robert Bishop for filling me in on who beat who at the tournament. I am going to do my best.
Paul Fischer beat Harold Owens RH and neither of them placed in the top 3 RH supers, yet Harold ended up winning the RH overall open class, just one of the confusing things that happened, but I think the tournament classes should count more than the overall, even though it was an open class of it's own.

Does anybody know when Jeff Bradley last competed? The last time I know of was July 25th at last year's Chicagoland Tourney. Gotta take him off soon unless he has competed since then that I am unaware of, or if he plans on competing in the very near future.

Awesome, thanks! You're looking good man, getting close. Wow for Josh beating Troy Stuhan while double classing! Looks like I was right to move Rod Sellers up in the left hand rankings.

Finally got my rankings updated. Only thing I'm uncertain of is Mike Dawson took 4th right handed in Erie, while Sam Bowling and Paul Talbott didn't place (right handed). Not sure if they ever met up with Mike or who knocked them out. The updated rankings can be viewed here: sites.google.com/site/mnarmwrestling/midwest-rankings-1Right not the old rankings are still listed on this website in case anybody wants to go look at them to see exactly what changes were made. I'll update the rankings on this website in a couple days. Comments/questions/criticisms?
