Revelation 22:16 16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

Ok very very interesting read John, shed A LOT more light on the subject for me. So Lucifer possibly is actually Jesus and NOT Satan.

Revelation 22:16 16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. Very good discussion. I need to start studying a lot more. Satan tried to steal the name just like the bible says.

Yeah, that was new to me, too.
It certainly makes more sense, doesn't it?

That article single handedly cleared up a whole lot of questions I had going through my mind that made absolutely no sense in the context of the writings.

Now that we are all on the same page here i have a question of perspective for you guys that i have yet to ask anyone after this revalation came to me a while back.
Albert pike a revered writer of the Freemasons, wrote the book dogmas and morals.
In it he says "the God of the masons is LUCIFERIC in nature"
What that mean to you given your knew revalations?

Does it mean the Masons are not evil??? Since Lucifer can be translated as a name for Christ?? Does it mean the devil tried duping us into believing that someone who does good works for the community ACTUALLY do worship Christ and that there is something even more sinister than thought about?

I meant to say more clearly does it mean Masons are not bad and that the Devil has just pulled a very tight blindfold on our perspective on the actual reality of things.

Since it seems there really is a "him" working behind the scenes to pervert the truth of everything?

I think Albert Pike understood Lucifer as Satan. Masonry is built on lies, which is exactly the definition of Satan. I think Pike was clear in this, and Masonic symbolism backs that up. There's no confusing Baphomet for Jesus.

Well you have to first go to the source and ask pike what he meant by luciferic?
Did he have a distorted view of the term lucifer?
Did he associate that name to Satan like most of the world does?
Or was he in fact referring to Christ?

I agree John. After studying Freemasons a great deal I conclude that he was referring to Satan.
However he said luciferic not lucifer

I ask these questions because a friend defended his freemasonry by implying that pike was talking about jesus

And that in fact is what brought about my revalation
Then I was left confused about sooo much that I thought I knew

My friend who is a mason speaks similar. I also had and uncle who was a high mason but he left the group and was one of the best witnesses and preachers I have ever met in my life. Your right John there is a difference between the horned goat and Jesus for sure. But could it be that Masonry has been infilitrated just like everything else. This has me confused also.
