Novice Wins

I've always thought it Would be good if promoters had a place they could check out novice wins and help them graduate novice pullers to the open class. So I am doing this as a test run to see what people think, this is only the Southeast tourneys and I have went back as far as get a grip for now, these are all 1st place wins and I didn't include those that only had two in the class.....

by AAA rule you can achieve three novice wins before being considered no longer a novice, and correct me if I'm wrong but there must be 4 in the class for it to count, if any of these had less than four I wont know because people mostly post the top 3

So, are you wanting promoters or novice winners to post on here to help u w the research? Or is this a "list only" that youll update for everybody as you get results?

I will update it, and any input to help make it more accurate would be greatly appreiciated, its gonna take some time to get even a year back but I think once in place it would be a very useful tool

Well this should just help you to update that list so if Jacob Hale comes to your tournament you can make an informed desision on weather or not he can pull novice

When I got super board I was going to go through certain results pages and add anyone and everyone who ever placed in an open class

Great idea DAVID...I am willing to add my win at the April 17 Outer Banks, NC Bike Rally Tourney,towards the 3 win rule....even though I pulled the 187 class...
Or does weight class even matter?...It was 11 stacked at GAG,and 9 at the NC Bike Rally....

I added every weight class and who won, and tried to put notation if a person won several different classes because by AAA rule 3 novice wins is what it is, meaning if its 1 left in the 176 and 1 right in the 154 and 1 right in the 187 doesnt matter 3 wins total
my personal feeling on this is left and right needs to be kept separate, some people may have a very long way to go on one front or the other but its no reason to turn them away from competetion because they cannot be competetive in the opens

If I dont have those wins of yours in there yet I will get them added ASAP,

I strongly disagree. Novice means "im at risk to injury due to lack of experience"

Should not mean "I'm not strong enough to pull open"

Should not mean "I'm not talented enough to pull open"

If you are experienced enough to not break you right arm, then you are experience enough to not break your left arm.
