workouts last week all sucked...did get to arm wrestle train in pana, IL. Went well. I am really good with my left hand (I am right handed though). I am a natural top roller Today (sunday 4-15-2012) BB Military Press warmup to 160x1 175-1x 180-1x 185-1x 200 will fall end of April. DB Shoulder Press, db flat bench, dips, and leg press. Now wings!

These workouts are posted random dates when I had internet...haven't been able to post due to internet problems
May 5th.
FINALLY someone opened a strongman gym somewhat close to where I live. AMMA (mma gym in bloomington) allowed a bloomington strongman to use their huge gym for training.
Frame Deadlift (never done this before, 15.5" high) 510-11 reps-PR!
Yoke walk/Frame carry warmed up with yoke weights of 260, 360, 460 510 yoke 60 feet, 420 frame carry 60 feet back- 55sec-PR
AXLE clean and press 200-PR! next week 215+
some sled pulls
June 2nd, JAKKED meet in Montgomery, IL. looking forward to it. Extremely happy with my performance...heavy old school training pays off!
May 6th Strict BB Press 170- 5 sets of 1
DB Bench 80-5x 90-5x 100-4x
Weighted Dips 90-12x
shoulder rehab
May 19th Have not had a computer lately.... hitting good numbers, keeping my weight up, gettin ready for my meet

Saturday Strongman (2 weeks out from meet)
Kep Load 240-2 sets of 1...PR! finally, couldn't even half way lift it from the last week...had to get the feel...at my meet there is a max keg load 3 attempts...I think I will go 200,230,260
Frame Deadlift (to simulate car deadlift) 510-13 reps in 58 sec.
Yoke had some trouble....I am still confident for the meet though
some frame carry (420Lbs), and tire flips
May 20th
Front squats 5x5
calves, and one leg leg press.
Shrugs 275-3x20-traps were tired from yesterday's strongman training.

Still at it Decided to do the IL State meet in Nashville, IL Jan 19! Still focusing on my strongman meet as well as arm wrestling now a little more since I know when I am going to compete. Been doing A LOT of neutral grip pullups, the dead hangs with a wrist curl Travis Bagent talks about, db holds, db rows, db preacher curls holds (really carrying over I think), plate pinches, hammer curls, band work (rreally carrying over for the tendons) and JUST BOUGHT SOME STEEL ROUND STOCK TO BEND!! Not much table time, I e-mail someone really close to me and talked to Jared Cook, he always fills me in on when he is training. Looking forward to getting a meet under my belt and learning! Hopefully I get a win or 2 as well.

Had an ok back workout with some arm wrestling training and an ok press day...eh ya know. The other day I was sent home from work (producton low) so I went in twice and did light, all around upper body workout. Felt great.
12-13-2012
arm wrestling workout
DB holds, db prone holds, db rows, cannon ball pullups (all 3 sets)
also some wrist curls. Band/tendon work at home

First good deadlift workout in a long time...still weight I am embarrassed of lol but I see good, solid heavier weight in the near future. Overhead work and arm wrestling training tomorrow
Deadlift 3x1
BB Rows (easy, but could still feel my muscles working, but high reps on rows suck, 4-6 is the best) 225-8x, 8x, 8x
Neutral Grip Pullups 15x, 12x, 12x
DB Holds' 2 sets with 100s

DB Prone Holds (with someone pulling against db for resistance) this was awesome...my strength is building for sure...held a 65, 70 and 75
Found a band with 60Lb resistance, did arm wrestle pulls with it, sets of 10 per arm/hand
Db hammers and db raises (rehab)

12-20-2012 Squats 3x3 Front squats 3x2-all reps paused at bottom, ass to ground DB bench 80s-5x, 6x, 10x Decline BP 200-5x, 5x, 5x abs...went a little lighter on bp since I pressed and did some arm wrestling exercises yesterday...my elbows are tinglings!!!! haha. Also, my 20 pieces of 3/16" and 20 pieces of 1/4" steel (cut at 6"-7") came in the mail today!!!

Did deads and sld the other day, went alright, but my biceps and elbows were lit on fire....same with my squats day...bought some biofreeze and icing my elbows so I can hopefully do a few aw movements in a few days....if not I will just keep up the rest. Must've just shocked them Squat day Back Squats 3x3-up 5lbs from 4 days before!! moving toward a big max in June Front squats 3 sets 1-2x, paused at bottom DB Rows 85s-3x5 Pullups (weighted) 3x6 off to get muscle and joint rub.

Rack Squats and Rack Pulls light it's been a long time, will put these in on deadlift day, rsq one week, rpl the next week.
BB Rows 235-3x6-Strong, and a little too easy up it next week
Weight Chins 30#-2x7 then no weight 18 reps
Tendon strengthening for arm wrestling-22 days out!
