It's obvious many arm wrestlers feel more than one national championship negatively effects or hurts the sport of arm wrestling. What are the positives, if any? Do you feel strongly enough about only one nationals to support one national tournament each year? If you do, which would you support and why? Nothing will change if there is a need and money can be made by the promoter/organization so it is ultimately up to us, "the arm wrestlers" to decide if 3 nationals and talk of a fourth is the right direction for the sport. What are your thoughts and opinions?

I guess one positive from having multiple nationals is that at we are always going to have plenty of Armwrestling to attend to, no shortage of tournaments. But yeah there definitely should be only one national, I hear alot of people say that it's watered down, and I agree, and it shouldn't be like that, it should be a prestigious occasion that only happens once a year, nationals needs that prestige back, but my opinion there needs to be just one for that to happen.

Well if you are in this just for an award or Title then you can go to anyone that is close to your area. If You are looking to someday become a World Championship then your only choice is the USAF as they are the only association recognized by WAF.

Having 3,4,5 National title events just waters down the legitimacy of any National Title. USAF should be to only one to two main reasons. Its the qualifier for WAF worlds but also it currently has the most credibility as the best in the country.
Also, if I were King. LOL USAF Nationals would be in Vegas every year and on the same weekend every year. Then do everything possible to raise money to help send Team USA to the worlds for free.

I'm new to the sport, and I don't know if I'll ever reach the heights of world champion but I'm definitely working towards participating at USAF nationals and the worlds some day.

If you win a national title at AAA nationals, do you get recognized as a national champion or do you have to win at the USAF to be officially recognized as a national champion?

what was the attendance like this year for unifieds?.....I kinda like the idea of having regional Nationals...or what have you....I think it gives pullers the opportunity to go to and participate in a more prestigious tournament....other than a typical local one....without having to fly across the country....or breaking the bank....or choosing that over the family get away....I suspect....most of us find some major road block .....so....in terms of watering down.....if the masses don't show up for the one Nationals.....is that really any better....or confirming.....and what if certain pullers are gearing up for other prestigious events.........I can see the need or interest for an all determining Nationals.....in one location in this country....good luck to the pullers that can make the event.....but still....results would most likely be taken with a grain of salt........the idea of eliminating other Nationals....to conduct just one....sounds good....but...just not sure if it will have the outcome that is intended.....kinda like one of those football plays that looks good on paper....but does not execute well on the field.......

Chaffee, Vazgen, and Storm winning the triple crown last year really showed they were best in class!
