How the fu(k am I off the 90kg rankings I pulled up a class because of ual standards, but I was lighter than Clark and ford... Just because I pulled a different class doesn't move me out of a ranked class. Furthermore... I smoked beat Steve green 5-1 in our only meeting... So Josh you have a coy little way of dodging my direct questions... And it shows bias which means you shouldn't be doing the rankings. When I got dropped down for my losses last year nobody wanted to hear circumstances... They took the " you put your arm up" stance... Win is a win. And for a bit ford and hutchings were over me.... Now I beat todd in our last meet and beat ford at MGC... So by my math I should be number 1.... Fill me in here... Because your rankings are continually on the spiral downhill since Eric passed them over.

... A tad more here... Just to add to the hilarity
You have chase jump how many spots... Even over Clark... Who beats chase. Simon is over chad silvers ?... When silvers beat Selearis and simon easy in their last encounters... Lol...
I could go on for days... You are cooked buddy

Yeah, can you explain why Rob and Brent are now in 110 KG? Also, who are all these Florida pullers that popped up out of nowhere?
I know why I dropped off (I had gotten beat by the people that moved above me), but I don't understand why some of these guys jumped up the rankings when they weren't previously on them at all, ESPECIALLY when they only pull locally (sometimes....).

Alan would you rather there just be topics on here with no discussion?

No. Discussion is fine. Just don't think personal attacks over something so petty are necessary. Especially when your already a bad ass and everyone knows it.

I'm gonna say alot of it has to do with weight class issues. I really wish it were possible to streamline the weight classes so there was far less grey. However since it is this way I think it's important to have a solid rule about how to judge class/class where if puller a beats puller b and they are both within 10 lbs of the correct weight it still affects rankings. Also anytime a unknown puller beats a known pro beit fluke of legit it is going to have a strange affect on rankings. If that unknown puller rarely comes out of state then it's even worse because now anytime he loses in his state it's affecting national rankings. IMO the rankings deserve some kind of once a year rewrite based on the USAF Nationals. This will add Incentives for people to attend as well as iron out any wrinkles caused by the constant progressive time line.

I've got wins on ranked guys but I'm not complaining. I don't train anymore. I've put in 23 years, trained my ass off, been to 6 world tournaments, placed in 4 of them with one being a world title. Just the way to go about it would be to give out the info with reason to be moved up without calling people dumb asses and tell them they don't know what they are doing. Cause josh puts in lots of time I'm sure.

It is a thankless job for sure and disagreements should not be made personal, it seems to me that if you have to resort to personal attacks then you lose the argument on its merits. We could do what tennis or golf or NASCAR does and base the rankings on points and the head to head meetings would not change the rankings unless they were almost even on points. There will be no foolproof system just different ideas on how to do it. Regardless the current system is based on personal perception and no one should be personally slammed for his or hers perception of who is better.
