Successful people handle adversity two ways, they go straight through it, or they get around it
Unsuccessful people handle adversity two ways also, They quit, and then make excuses

HOW MY HEART TRULY BREAKS TO WATCH THAT TEAR RUN DOWN MY CHILDS FACE THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL AND HOW IT WILL HURT SO MUCH WORSE WHEN THEIR TEARS END, FOR ONCE THE SEPERATION HAS STARTED IT CAN NEVER BE STOPPED

The only true loss in failure would be not recognizing the new opportunities beginning as the current one ends

SORRY DADDY
No one but the parent of a special child could ever really understand How much it hurt when he reached for me with His little hand That moment of clarity when he realized it for himself That he is just a little bit odd, apart from everyone else
You wonder what he feels What goes on in his little head? Does he feel embarrassed? Scared? Or alone? I try to understand how I feel What’s going on in my own head? Will I be strong enough? Patient? Or wise? I know I can handle anything this situation may demand The extra school work, the bullies Those who don’t understand I will show them he is smart and how sweet he can be I will teach him he is not a disappointment Never ever to me
But nothing in my life before has ever hurt so completely Than when my son realized he was different thought he let me down and said “I’m sorry Daddy”

Every great accomplishment begins with a supposition, but not every supposition ends as a great accomplishment The result lies in the man asking the question Not the question the man has asked
Christopher Myers 2/22/2003
some People E-mailed after I posted this asking me what a "suppositon" was.... it is a "question" in this case it means "can it be done" the poem just means that there is no question or task that is insurmountable unless you beleive that allready

Heavy is the heart of parent who sends their son to war to defend us and what is right Heavier is the heart of a parent who buries their son after war having died for what is right Heaviest is the heart of the parent who buries their son after war to be made to wonder if it was right
